Robert Griffin Appointed Church Elder

griffin.jpgRobert Demetrius Griffin, Church Elder at St. Marks Holy ChurchRobert Demetrius Griffin, Coordinator, Student Programs and Services, has been appointed Church Elder at St. Marks Holy Church of America, an 82-year-old, landmark Pentecostal church in Brooklyn.

In his new role, Robert will join other Elders as they serve as an extension of the church’s leadership under the Pastoral direction of Bishop Nathaniel Townsley, Jr. Robert will focus on the areas of administration, men’s ministry and the youth department.

Robert has been a member of St. Marks for over 18 years. In 2000, he was ordained a Licensed Minister and in 2003, he was elevated to the office of Evangelist. August 2007 was the official elevation and appointment to his new Eldership role.

Robert isn’t sure where this new appointment will take him. He says he’ll “go as far as God wants me to go to do His will.”
