I would like to nominate "Professor Peter Voltz" for his dedication for excellent teaching and excellent research in Polytechnic University, which is well know educational institute nationally and internationally.
Professor Voltz classes is well designed, the notes, the homeworks, the exams, the office hours are all for better understanding the subjects, and having the solid foundation to go and solve the bigger problems in our own.
I remember some times Professor Voltz has spent more time beyond the office and class hours to discuss the problems and make sure the students understood the core of course.
I have taken EL931, EL932, EL713, EL630, EL602,EL735.
Yes I nominate "Professor Peter Voltz" for 2008 Distinguished Teacher Award and Jacobs Excellence in Education Awards.

Thanks
Seyed M. Mansourbeigi MSCS 1993, MSEE 1998
