I do not see anyone taking any action against these pharmaceuticals in the water. Also I heard from Professor Joesten that chickens are treated with estroge leading to an elevation in levels of triglycerides etc. I think this is the reason why obesity is on the rise.

I think doctors are now recognizing the dangers of overusing antibiotics. But they have to overcome the persuasive forceful pressures of patients who insist. Knowledge is power. Your writing is powerful.

That's a good argument about Inverness but doesn't apply to NYC or Miami or any large city. Beautifully written.

Hello Mark:
I enjoyed reading the articles on your blog and look forward to reading Part 2 of Resistance to Antibiotics. BTW, my favorite is your Grass fed article (November 26, 2006). Thanks to your scientific exploration, now I know everything I will ever need to know about the difference between "free range" chickens and "grass fed" chickens. Brilliant!
Best regards.

I was able to find your new site quickly through a simple Google search. The content and writing are excellent, as usual.

"Natural Selection" isn't necessarily at odds with "Intelligent Design". Natural Selection is an observed fact. Already existing traits of a species or organism are selected out by the environment.

The argument of complexity that "Creationists" and supporters of "Intelligent Design" have with the Theory of Evolution is the idea of "Beneficial Mutations".
